Experience

2023 - Present

Business Development Associate

HAII Corporation

Seoul, South Korea

Strategic-minded Business Development Associate with a experience in healthcare market expansion, partner strategy, and cross-functional project execution. Experienced in corporate development, global market analysis, including the U.S., SEA, Middle East, and Japan, and supporting licensing negotiations for AI-powered digital diagnostics. Adept at building strategic narratives and driving go-to-market planning for new regions, completed a B.S. in Organizational Behavior at Northwestern University, with a capstone project focused on scaling communication and operational alignment within digital healthcare teams.

2019 - 2021

Planning and Marketing Associate

Big Care

Seoul, South Korea

At Bigcare, I had the chance to work across both product and marketing teams, starting as an intern and later as a product team associate. One of my most impactful projects was participating in the development of a public-access COVID-19 map in collaboration with Kakao Inc., which made real-time health information more accessible to the public. Also helped launched and managed the “Go Big Go Life” campaign, designed to raise health data awareness among industrial laborers, helping connect everyday health habits with long-term well-being. Beyond campaigns and features, I supported the planning of a new health examination center and carried out market research, which gave me a deeper understanding of how healthcare products and services are shaped to meet community needs.

Education

2025

Northwestern University

Bachelor's degree

Chicago, IL

Through Northwestern’s Organization Behavior with a Business Leadership program, I developed the ability to lead effectively in dynamic, global environments and applied these skills directly to my professional work.

  • Adaptive Leadership – Applied directive, participative, and coaching styles as situations required. For example, when pitching HAII’s Alzheimer’s screening tool, I adapted from a top-down strategy to a pilot-first approach, focusing on measurable results to secure buy-in.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Designed a Communication Toolkit to strengthen alignment among product, clinical, and business teams; also built external partnerships across the U.S., Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

  • Culture & Ethics – Applied Amy Edmondson’s concept of psychological safety and adapted communication to Korean, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian contexts, balancing cultural sensitivity with innovation.

  • Communicating Vision – Reframed AI-driven biomarker technology as a global mission, securing buy-in from partners such as Eisai (Japan), Halodoc (Indonesia), and Altibbi (MENA).

  • Data-Driven Decisions – Grounded strategies in metrics, market research, and case studies from organizations like Gallup, ensuring that my Capstone toolkit was both practical and evidence-based.

Looking Ahead: I plan to refine frameworks for cross-team alignment, scale digital health solutions globally, and continue fostering innovation through adaptive, ethical, and collaborative leadership.
